Sea Buckthorn Powder is milled from organic Hippophae rhamnoides fruits. Sea buckthorn is a spiny, flowering, deciduous shrub native to the temperate climates of Europe and Asia. Sea buckthorn produces small, orange berries which have been used in traditional healing practices for hundreds of years. For example, sea buckthorn berries were employed inTraditional Chinese Medicine, Russian folk herbalism, and in ancient Greece for wellness-support, as a tonic herb, and as part of a skin care regime. Occasionally spelled, sea buckhorn or sea buckthorne, the fruit powder can be prepared in botanical syrups, cosmetic products, herbal teas, smoothies, and extracts.
