[00:00:00] Latest and Greatest in Dr. Marisol Teijero’s World Regarding Health and Wellness: Shifting from Sick Care to Self-Care: Mindset and Language

Ryan Sternagel: Marisol, we’re already running behind, but real quick—traditional first question for you. You’re not allowed to talk about castor oil packs, but what’s on your mind when it comes to staying healthy these days? What have you implemented into your life? Maybe a New Year’s thing that reminded you of something you should be doing, and now you’re doing it again. Anything like that?

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: I love it. I know you don’t let me say castor oil packs, but outside of that, I think it’s about my mission. I refined my mission over the last month. I’ve been thinking about it, pondering it—what is the impact I would love to have in the world? How can I most help with transformation, not only for others but for myself too? Because I’m also on the same journey everyone here is listening to. We all have the idea of preserving health and preventing things—not that castor oil packs or anything I’m going to recommend can prevent cancer. But from where we are, how can we all have the biggest, most empowering movements forward, and move that needle, as they say?

What’s landed on me and feels good in my heart is that my goal now is to change sick care. We’re in this sick care model of healthcare; What it comes down to is self-care. How can we switch from sick care to self-care? There are so many things we can do in self-care. Of course, castor oil packs are one of them, but it goes way beyond that—mindset, the words we’re using daily, and the power they have to impact our well-being.

As someone mentioned in the chat earlier, “All is well.” How often can we use good words and choose better words? Because that’s going to ultimately align with our lives and move our journey of self-care forward. So to me, beyond castor oil packs, it’s been about the choice of my words over the past while, being very diligent and thinking them through. I don’t want to say things like, “I want this done by this deadline,” because I don’t want to kill anything I’ve worked so hard to create.

What about using the “done line”? We’ve changed that word in my company, Queen of the Thrones. We don’t say “deadline,” we say “done line.” We don’t say “good morning,” we say “grand rising.” Gratitude for a healthy body—I love it. Healthcare is sick care. We need a global self-care movement. If we know how to self-care and feel empowered to do it, imagine how much less stress and strain there would be on the healthcare model. We wouldn’t need so much of a healthcare model because we’d all be self-caring.

[00:02:57] Introduction to Castor Oil Packs in Cancer Care

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: George wants to know what this webinar is about. This webinar is about the use of castor oil packs in the cancer journey. You and I have spoken often, and when we first met, you didn’t know my background in cancer care, which is pretty elaborate and all-inclusive. For me, my very first patient was my mother, who had stage four breast cancer.

You can imagine that cancer hits home when it hits home—like with your son, the lengths you went to research, figure things out, see what you could do, and help him. From there, you were able to create such an amazing platform to help other people. It’s the same thing for me; I started cancer care in my clinical practice. I did cancer care for over a decade. My work with castor oil packs stemmed from their use in cancer care and autoimmunity care.

I think it’s going to be great. I’ve created a nice little presentation with slides for everyone, so we can get a really clear understanding today and take people through how you can self-care with castor oil packs through your cancer journey.

Ryan Sternagel: Cool. I like the “all is well” phrase—good stuff. I like the “don’t comply” phrase that popped up in the chat, too. That was great. That’s all you need you need to know about being well these days is, don’t comply with anything that’s handed to you on a silver platter because it’s probably not the way to go.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Exactly. It’s probably going to be dangerous. I’ll play the presentation so we can get started. In case I have any technological difficulties, let me know. I’ve been known to be like, “Ah, how do I do this?”

Ryan Sternagel: Sorry, Dr. Marisol. I always forget to say these two things until about halfway through, but we’re doing better today. Please don’t take anything you hear as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I’m not a doctor. Dr. Marisol is a doctor, but not necessarily your doctor.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: I love it. Thank you for your time, everybody. This is great. We’re going to get a good indoctrination in terms of castor oil packs.

Ryan Sternagel: There will be a replay, and if you’re on the email list, which you probably are if you’re on this webinar, we’ll send that replay link out. Also, the link you used to sign up for this webinar or log in becomes the replay link after it is processed, so you can use that same link.

If you’re watching the replay, yes, the recording could be up to two hours, but Dr. Marisol will get through the meat and potatoes sooner than that. The Q&A is where all the fun nerding out happens.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: I love it.

Ryan Sternagel: Awesome. Great. All right. I think that’s what I’ve got.

[00:06:34] Why Quality Matters in Castor Oil Packs: A Personal Journey and Product Integrity

Ryan Sternagel: We love castor oil packs. We gravitated toward them after Ryder, our son, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer coming up on 10 years ago. Everything we learned about them—what you’ll learn here—is that they apply to everybody. They help with so many different things. We heard about them from everything—far-out alternative cancer blogs to highly respected naturopathic doctors and everyone in between. Dr. Marisol has made them so much easier to use in the past several years. Anyway, I’m excited for the whole thing.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Being in quality and all, I’ll share with you why you want to be working with the Queen of the Thrones brand over others. This is my life’s work as a doctor. I’m no longer in clinical practice—I’m inactive with my license—but this has been my life’s work: refining the practice and making it easy and most importantly, clean.

A lot of products out there for castor oil packs are trending now, but there are so many companies creating phonies and counterfeits. They’re using bad quality ingredients in their oil—it’s scary—or they’re lying on their labels. It never ceases to amaze me. I want to make sure people understand why I’m such an advocate for good-quality castor oil and castor oil packs. We’ll get into all of that today.

[00:08:24] The History and Scientific Significance of Castor Oil Packs

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: I think it’s important to start by letting people know—I’m a doctor of naturopathic medicine. I’ll go more into my bio in a little bit. But now, I’m the CEO of Queen of the Thrones. We sell castor oil packs, but we do it to better the world and the environment. The mission of our company is to shift from sick care to self-care. We fund the Institute of Functional Medicine, we do fundraisers and a lot of the funds we get go back into research.

For us, it’s incredibly important to be leaders and advocates for the quality of castor oil and castor oil packs because this tool is so foundational. As you said, there are all kinds of doctors prescribing it—from the most “woo-woo” practitioners to the most scientific-based, respected doctors like Mark Hyman. It’s a tool and a practice that’s been with us since the beginning of healthcare. The father of medicine, Hippocrates, was one of the first to prescribe castor oil packs, and Cleopatra—although she wasn’t a doctor—was well-known for her beauty and use of castor oil. Then you even have other practitioners like Pliny the Elder, who treated Roman emperors and empresses with castor oil for ovarian and uterine problems.

There’s a long history and tradition of castor oil packs. Now, with amazing influencers like you, Ryan, and your story about Ryder, we’re showing that castor oil packs are so much more than just a piece of cloth with oil on it that you put on your body. It’s quite scientific, what it does. We’re going to get into all that amazing nitty-gritty today. Cool, I’m excited.

[00:10:17] Innovating Castor Oil Packs: A Personal Journey and Simplified Solutions

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: What got me into treating cancer was my mom. Where your story is with Ryder, my story with castor oil packs began with my health not being well. But then I had the opportunity to first use castor oil packs with my mom in her stage 4 cancer. That’s where I started developing many of the packs available today, like the breast packs and thyroid packs. These were the ones I used with my mom first, and I was inventing and simplifying them for her because I knew she wouldn’t do it if it was messy or involved wrapping her body in plastic. My mom didn’t think that was right for the body, and she was correct. She may not have been a doctor, but she sure had good instincts about what’s good and healthy for the body, and wrapping saran wrap or plastic around your body when doing a castor oil pack isn’t it; That’s what turned me off from castor oil packs in the beginning. The way people were recommending castor oil packs to be done was toxic. I took all that knowledge and made it easy to do. Most importantly, as a practitioner, I wanted my patients to comply. I didn’t want them to leave my office saying, “Doctor, I’ll do it,” and then get home and think, “Forget this, it’s too hard. I’m not going to do it.”

Ryan Sternagel: It was a process. Someone mentioned—what’s it called? Not saran wrap, but the super strong stuff? There’s a name for it. That always felt wrong. We eventually moved to putting a wet towel over it, which was better from a non-toxic standpoint, but it was still a huge production. We’re grateful you came along and invented something that made it easier. It’s one of those things that seems obvious when you think about it.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Oh, absolutely! There are even easier things now. You’ll hear about the new things we’ve developed, like the roller. I should’ve brought it in, but we have a new roller that makes it much easier to apply the castor oil to the body, targeting specific locations. It’s a crystal quartz roller because we want to take the action of crystal quartz to activate the oil and make the castor oil work even better.

There are lots of great new products, and our company is always spearheading and leading the castor oil revolution. Make sure to stay connected with our company. If you want to follow me, grab your phone and head over to Instagram. You can follow me at “bewellqueen” My page is more about educating practitioners and teaching how to use castor oil in all its forms for self-care. Of course, the castor oil pack is something we love deeply.

[00:13:13] Understanding the Root Causes of Cancer and the Holistic Role of Castor Oil Packs

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Why castor oil packs in the self-care cancer journey? Castor oil packs are both natural and scientific. When I first heard of them, I thought they sounded very “woo-woo.” I mean, how could putting oil on a piece of cloth and placing it on your liver have any functional impact? Needless to say, I didn’t know much then. There’s quite a bit of research behind castor oil packs, and castor oil is no ordinary oil; It’s very different scientifically.

What I didn’t know back then is that castor oil packs are essentially self-care that addresses the root cause of conditions and diseases. In cancer patients, we often hear that the root cause is inflammation and sugar. Who here has heard that? Drop it in the chat—who’s heard that cancer’s root cause is excess inflammation and sugar in the system? Those were the first things I would talk to people about. Janet Olson says, “Yes”

So many of us have heard this. If this is your first time hearing it, in functional medicine and naturopathic practices, we see cancer as being caused by an excess of stress. That stress could be sugar, but stress can also be toxins that cause inflammation.

This is why I have this beautiful little chart here, showing the stages of disease progression. Cancer doesn’t just start as cancer. It begins with stress and inflammation, which trigger processes within the body. It starts with an inflamed, leaky gut, which creates a whole cascade of hormones like histamine and adrenaline. Then, it moves into stage two, where we see metabolic energy and sleep problems.

For my mom, her first sign wasn’t breast cancer—it was digestive problems, like constipation, which is a clear sign of an inflamed, leaky gut. Then she began experiencing metabolic energy issues, sleep problems, weight gain, and thyroid problems. How many people, before they get their cancer diagnosis, get a thyroid hormone imbalance diagnosis first? How many people start waking up in the middle of the night between the hours of 1 and 3 a.m., the hour of the liver? I’d love to hear in the chat if anyone wakes up between 1 and 3 a.m., or if they’re caring for someone with cancer who does. That’s a key sign of metabolic energy and sleep problems.

Janet Olson: Oh my God, this is happening so much to me.

Maggie Sanchez: I do.

Tina Story: I always do.

Maureen Smith: Yes, my husband does every single night.

Others: I do. Yes, yes!

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: See, these are all signs of the disease progression—stress and inflammation first cause problems in the gut, then metabolic energy and sleep issues, and finally, hormone imbalance. When the gut is inflamed and leaky, metabolism goes off, the thyroid goes off, and melatonin production is disrupted. Melatonin, as some of you may know, is protective, especially in cancer patients. It’s an important screening molecule I always check in my cancer patients. If they have low melatonin levels, it’s a sign they’ve moved from stage one to stage two, with issues in metabolic energy and sleep.

From there, hormone problems arise, which can lead to estrogen dominance, progesterone deficiency, and testosterone issues—all of which can contribute to cancers like prostate cancer, breast cancer, and more. Then, moving beyond stage three, we get to genetic mutations, and that’s where cancer occurs.

Cancer happens due to a buildup of stress and inflammation over time, and the body’s inability to balance inflammation, reduce stress, and being able to keep things in good state. It’s super important to understand that stress and inflammation are the root cause of all diseases, including cancer. Stress can come from toxins, sugar, emotions, and other sources, and that stress causes inflammation. Inflammation corrupts the body’s cellular communication and immune function.

Inflammation, when balanced, is good for the body. But when out of balance, it becomes destructive, leading to genetic mutations. Castor oil packs—yes, we know and love Edgar Cayce’s method. I saw Maureen or Martha McGee in the chat talking about being a tried-and-true believer in the Edgar Cayce castor oil method. Castor oil packs are beneficial not just for stress and inflammation, but also for emotional and spiritual connection, whatever that means for you.

I’m aware not everyone shares the same beliefs, but whatever you consider to be a higher power—whether God or something else—castor oil packs help with that connection. When we’re disconnected from that higher power, we’re more likely to suffer from cancer. Cancer, after all, is the result of a healthy cell trying to survive on its own, becoming disconnected from the whole. It mutates into something abnormal because it’s lost its connection.

Castor oil packs go much deeper than just physiological benefits—they also work on deeper processes. Since we know that stress and inflammation are at the root of cancer and that castor oil packs are beneficial, they are ideal for those on a cancer journey. If you’re feeling fatigued, not sleeping well, or struggling with energy, castor oil packs are excellent support.

The immune system, as we know, begins in the gut—80% of it is in the gut. If you’re feeling stressed, which is natural when dealing with a cancer diagnosis, castor oil packs can help. Cancer brings an elephant into the room—a constant pressure, and the fear of death and mortality.

However, there’s also a positive aspect. I would engage with my patients to help them understand that while cancer can be a mortal threat, it also has the potential to transform your life for the better. For my mother, at first, it looked like it was going to be the end—stage 4 breast cancer that had metastasized to her liver. She was very lucky, though, in how it all played out, and how she was able to treat her cancer from both the conventional and naturopathic perspectives. It gave her the best 11 years of her life. It transformed her in a way. To this day, I’m grateful for the diagnosis—ironically—though at the time, I wasn’t. I was scared out of my skin, thinking my mother was going to die from this horrible condition, dealing with horrible drugs and chemotherapy. Her whole protocol didn’t look good in the beginning until I stepped in with a natural approach. She came out far better than so many people dealing with cancer.

She had 10 or 11 years in remission with no signs of cancer. In the end, it was a stroke that took her life, but she had 10 beautiful years. That’s something everyone can have—not everyone, of course, but it depends on what you put into the treatment and the process. It depends on your outlook and your ability to step outside of yourself and stay away from the negative prognosis. Stay positive as much as possible.

[00:22:57] Managing Stress, Inflammation, and Detoxification in the Cancer Journey with Castor Oil Packs

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: If there are some words I could offer to cancer patients, it’s this: don’t believe the prognosis. Stay outside of that mindset, and do everything you can in every aspect of your health and self-care to move the needle in your direction. A lot of it begins with focusing—focusing on stress and inflammation, where you have the most power. This involves natural supplements, changes in diet, changes in lifestyle, and all these areas.

If you’re stressed, the key reason why castor oil packs are good for you is that stress reduces your body’s ability to detox, drain, and cleanse. When you can’t detox, drain, and cleanse, you experience an accumulation of toxins, which I saw time and again in cancer patients. This buildup creates an inhospitable environment for your healthy cells and a more hospitable environment for cancer cells to thrive. That’s why cleansing, drainage, and detoxification are key factors in the cancer journey. They work in conjunction with reducing inflammation and stress because excess stress and inflammation will inhibit the body’s ability to detox, drain, and cleanse.

It’s important to be aware of how stress and inflammation affect the body’s ability to detox. When you’re dealing with cancer, you’re often also dealing with inflammation and pain—whether from the drugs prescribed or from the nature of the condition itself. Castor oil packs can support you in this area too. If you’re having problems going to the bathroom, whether due to opiates for pain management, other prescribed drugs, or if you’re naturally constipated like my mom was—she struggled with constipation her entire life—castor oil packs can help. Her first sign of stress and inflammation was constipation.

Castor oil packs are good for you in your cancer journey, or if you’re caring for someone with cancer.  For any of the conditions or symptoms you’re experiencing, you’re in the right place with this presentation. As you said, Ryan, they help—they’re good for everyone. The only people who shouldn’t use them are those who are pregnant or have been advised otherwise by their doctor.

[00:25:40] The Role of Castor Oil Packs in Creating a Cancer-Resistant Terrain

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: To give you some background on why I’m here speaking to you today about castor oil packs and functional natural medicine in cancer care, it’s because I have a lot of experience. For over a decade, I was a practicing clinician and director of a naturopathic detox and cleanse center called Santa’s Health Practice, where I treated mainly cancer patients and those with autoimmune or hormonal conditions.

If you look at that disease progression chart we saw earlier, my patients weren’t just dealing with leaky gut—my patients were never that simple. They were always at the end stages, either with genetic mutations leading to cancer, having a recent cancer diagnosis, or having tried everything in cancer care and coming to me because they heard I had good results. Some were dealing with autoimmunity, which is also at the far end of the spectrum, often with hormonal problems.

I always worked with the most chronic of chronic conditions. This is probably due to my background and training in Germany. Before becoming a naturopathic doctor, I studied homotoxicology. I worked for a company called HEEL as their medical advisor and trainer for doctors, cancer doctors, and naturopathic oncologists.

I was training doctors in the use of detoxification and drainage mechanisms, teaching them all about stress and inflammation, and how to modulate those factors, back in the early 2000s. At that time, I didn’t know about castor oil packs until I learned about them, and I realized—oh my God, what an amazing tool! It wasn’t being utilized enough in the naturopathic profession, especially when it came to oncological care. What a gem I was able to bring to the profession with castor oil packs, and making them simple for cancer patients.

A big reason why I simplified castor oil packs was for cancer patients. As you all know, they’re already dealing with an enormous amount of things—multiple supplements, multiple treatments, multiple practitioners. There’s so much to think about, and we can’t make castor oil packs complicated for an already complicated case. Don’t you agree, Ryan?

Ryan Sternagel: Amen, sister.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Amen! Who’s going to do a castor oil pack if they’re already taking 6-10 supplements for an “easy” case? Cancer patients can be on 20-25 supplements—modified citrus pectin, EGCGs, and all kinds of supplements. But as I got deeper into working with castor oil packs and cancer patients, I discovered amazing things. For example, castor oil packs are a source of EGCGs—one less supplement to take! Castor oil is also a source of high-dose vitamin E, which helps recycle glutathione—another bonus for highly toxic cancer patients.

I learned so much along the way, and I’m grateful for my education and pre-training because it gave me a great foundation to share with you. It helps shift the model from “sick care” to “self-care,” especially in cancer care. I’ve been very fortunate in that way.

Additionally, my passion for environmental medicine (in which I’m certified) also led me to become the CEO of Queen of the Thrones. Even within my clinical practice, I was doing clinical research and case studies with castor oil packs for cancer and autoimmune patients. We tested functional markers, not just cancer markers, using generic labs like liver panels, metabolic panels, and kidney function testing. This allowed us to see how castor oil packs impacted the daily function of the organs.

Ultimately, it’s one thing to cut, burn, and kill the cancer, but it’s another thing entirely to set up the system—the terrain of the human body—so that it’s no longer hospitable to cancer and becomes supportive of healthy cells. That’s the goal with castor oil packs: shifting stress and inflammation, which keep you stuck in a rigid, toxic, unhealthy environment that is prone to cancer, into a healthy environment like a garden where healthy cells can thrive. In such an environment, cancer cells can do what they’re naturally meant to do—apoptosis, or programmed cell death, where they explode and die off. That’s the hope in cancer care.

One of the early lessons I learned from my teachers is that the best cancer treatment is the one your body exerts on the cancer. That’s when your body regains its mechanisms of vigilance, like the p53 mechanism of apoptosis, which becomes dormant in cancer cells. But you can only achieve that by working on the terrain. Castor oil packs help combine supplements, lifestyle practices, and terrain medicine to create a healthier environment where cancer can’t thrive, and healthy cells can.

That’s our goal here today. Does that sound good to everyone? We’re working on our terrain because, at the end of the day, all you have is your terrain. If your terrain is healthy, you’ll have health. If your terrain is sick, then sickness is what you’ll have.

If that makes sense to everyone, I like to have people drop the word “bloom” in the chat during my presentations.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Awesome! If you hear a concept during this presentation that resonates with you and blooms a new thought, drop “bloom” in the chat. Amen for castor oil! Joyce: My cancer cells erupted on their own.

I love that you’re imagining that, Joyce—that’s amazing! That’s what we want to do. We want to create a healthy terrain for ourselves and our bodies. You’re already doing many things—taking supplements, exercising, eating the right diet, working with your practitioners, and getting good information. Castor oil packs can help all those things work better. They can help the terrain work better too.

[00:33:17] How Stress and Inflammation Disrupt Healing and How Castor Oil Packs Restore Balance

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: The two things we know that promote cancer are inflammation and stress. These molecular mechanisms are constantly at work in our terrain, literally spurring cancer. The problem with inflammation and stress is that, while they are beneficial in proper amounts, when they’re out of control, they start working against us. Even things we do for our own good, like eating healthy food, can backfire. For example, in a stressed and inflamed environment, food can become a sensitivity. Many of the vitamins and minerals you take can burn you out because your body has to utilize other minerals and vitamins to activate the ones you’re taking.

In a stressed and inflamed environment, things start to work against you. Your fish oil, which should calm inflammation, might make you nauseated because of how your gut is dealing with it. Your probiotics, instead of protecting you, can drain you. Inflammation and stress interfere with how well your body processes and benefits from all these things.

When you’re taking expensive supplements, as we know many cancer patients do, they aren’t doing as much good as they could if you’re not also addressing your stress and inflammation. This is why castor oil packs are so powerful. They help balance the terrain, reducing stress and inflammation so that everything you’re taking and investing in can work better.

A normal gut has tight junctions that prevent harmful substances from passing through. But in a stressed and inflamed state, the gut becomes leaky. The gut barrier weakens, allowing harmful substances to enter the bloodstream, triggering more inflammatory responses and molecular mechanisms that can suppress the body’s vigilant signals—those signals necessary to prevent cancer cell mutations.

[00:35:55] How Castor Oil Packs Support Digestion, Immunity, and Cancer Care through Stress and Inflammation Reduction

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: So, the question becomes: how do we address inflammation and stress to improve digestion, nutrient absorption, microbiome balance, and barrier integrity, all while boosting immunity? The answer lies in the regular use of castor oil packs. It’s not just the oil alone. While the oil itself is beneficial—being anti-inflammatory, rich in antioxidants like vitamin E that recycles glutathione, promoting nitric oxide production, and being a source of EGCG (the chemopreventative molecule from green tea)—these effects are enhanced when applied topically with a pack. It’s the most researched molecule when it comes to cancer care in PubMed, and castor oil is a source of it.

Polyphenols like just quercetin is another big heavy hitter when it comes to cancer care, and it’s also available in castor oil.

[00:37:04] The Importance of Castor Oil Packs for Detoxification, Stress Relief, and Overcoming Toxicity

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: You’re not going to get these effects from castor oil when taken orally; It’s only going to be those effects when done topically. It’s done as a topical treatment because castor oil is the ultimate carrier oil that actually can break through the top barrier level and move deeper into the tissues. Castor oil is also an amazing microbiome balancer; There’s great research in PubMed about how it can balance out an unhealthy microbiome. It’s one of the reasons that we’ll even go to using castor oil, not only topical on the skin to balance out the skin microbiome there, but in the hair, and also in the mouth as in oil pulling.

There’s so many different ways that it can be absolutely utilized and to, take advantage of the beneficial effects of it being a natural anti inflammatory, rich in antioxidants, and microbiome balancer.

It also moves a smooth muscle. If there are issues with bowel movements… If you’re constipated because of opiates that you’re taking, castor oil can support it when it’s used as a castor oil pack. You can also take castor oil orally if there’s resistant constipation and it’s often… pharmacists are very trained in using castor oil as a laxative, and so are some doctors, but you just can’t drink it to get all of those different effects because when you drink it, it doesn’t stay within the gut area for long enough of a time, it’s transit time within and out of the body is six hours so you won’t be getting those effects. The best effect that you’re going to get is when you’re putting it topically on the skin if you want to activate all of the anti-inflammatory effects, you want to have all the effects of the antioxidants, the nitric oxide effect that mobilizes brings blood to the area and mobilizes lymphatic system.

You can drink it but I don’t often recommend it to be drinking, it’s like the last case scenario, if the constipation is so resistant that it’s not even working with the castor oil pack, then I will do oral castor oil, but I’ll typically go to the castor oil pack just because it’s a lot softer and it’s a lot easier to deal with.

Also, you’re missing part of the effects of the castor oil pack to affect the terrain and the stress and inflammation. They’re not going to get it only by simply just rubbing on the oil. The body’s a great moisturizer. It’s going to be a great moisturizer. You’re going to get an anti-inflammatory effect, you’re going to have those aspects, but there’s a part that you’re missing without the pack. The pack is a hundred percent necessary for the practice to work because the pack addresses the root cause, which is the stress because it’s the oil that will shift the inflammation, but it’s the path that shifts the stress.

As I said earlier, if inflammation and stress are too rampant in the body, the body cannot detox properly. Liver detoxification is essentially the process of sorting out toxins—deciding whether they’re fat-soluble, water-soluble, or some other type. You can think of it like sorting your trash: Is it recycling, compost, glass, or garbage?

Liver detoxification packages toxins in the body, preparing them to be removed. Then comes lymphatic drainage, which is key because it takes those “packages”—the recycling, compost, and garbage bins—and transports them to the curb. For fat-soluble toxins, the curb is your colon, and for water-soluble toxins, it’s your kidneys and urination. The lymphatic system brings these toxins to the colon and kidneys for elimination through bowel movements or urine. Ideally, that’s how the process should work.

However, when you’re stressed and inflamed, these processes are inhibited. They don’t function properly, and your body starts to accumulate toxins and stressors. It’s like being stuck on a bad roller coaster ride—more stress, more inflammation, more toxins, and you keep going down that dangerous track, which can eventually lead to cancer. That’s why cancer is often seen as the worst diagnosis; it’s the most toxic of all diseases. Disease occurs when your pathways of detoxification, drainage, and cleansing are blocked—not just physically, but emotionally and energetically as well.

You can’t avoid the problems entirely because toxins are constantly bombarding you. They come from the air, food, water, sugar, and even people. Toxic people matter. In fact, many cancer patients need to evaluate their environment and see if there are toxic people they need to remove. I saw this in many of my cancer patients. Some had non-supportive family members, and they needed to distance themselves to focus on their healing. They needed to surround themselves with people who supported their health and wellness journey because those toxic relationships were causing emotional stress that impacted their ability to heal.

Would you agree with that, Ryan? Have you seen many people in that situation?

Ryan Sternagel: Oh, definitely. It’s a big issue that doesn’t get talked about often enough. Obviously, physical toxicity is a huge deal, and people know the crazy lengths we go to to avoid it. But, you’re right, you can’t avoid all of it—between glyphosate being sprayed everywhere and heavy metals raining down from the planes, it’s everywhere. The same goes for the emotional stuff. I remember Teddy and I were hyper-paranoid about that, but we tried to stay as calm as we could. We would kick doctors and nurses out of the room if we felt they were not in the right mindset.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Exactly! You have to be aware of your medical professionals too because they can sometimes be the most toxic people in the room. One of the most harmful things a medical professional can do is give a prognosis. A prognosis can be a huge detriment because a doctor isn’t God; They only know what they’ve seen in their experience, but there’s always potential for someone to heal and do better. I’ve had stage 4 liver cancer patients live 9 or 10 years when they were given only three months. I’ve had ovarian cancer patients live a decade when they were given six months. My mother was given six months. I’ve seen so many cases now where the prognosis turned out to be wrong.

A prognosis can become a mental toxin. For those out there who hear one—acknowledge it, but then put it aside. Do some energetic work to move past that prognosis.  We’ve seen great results. Just be careful with prognoses because they can be toxic.

[00:45:08] The Hidden Dangers of Clothing and the Importance of Choosing Natural Materials

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Another thing to consider is what we’re wearing, which people don’t tend to think about much. I recently did a big cleanup of my closet, and this is something to think about, especially when it comes to the basics—like your underwear. Don’t buy underwear from places like Amazon, where they claim it’s cotton, but it’s blended with chemicals. Anytime it’s blended with rayon or nylon, it means there are phthalates, which are endocrine disruptors. Endocrine disruptors can lead to cancer, so you want to be cautious about the clothing you’re wearing.

You can find yoga pants made from 100% cotton—I have a couple of pairs. I had to learn not to buy what’s popular but to check the labels on my clothing, just like I check the labels on my food. This became important to me when I studied castor oil packs because the material used in the packs must be very specific—it has to be 100% cotton. It can’t be blended with plastics, and it can’t be bamboo. Bamboo, though considered eco-friendly, is a toxic material. People don’t realize that just because something is eco-friendly doesn’t mean it’s health-friendly. Buyer beware!

[00:46:30] Balancing Internal Toxins: How Castor Oil Packs Support Cholesterol, Inflammation, and Cancer Care

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Here’s the double-edged sword: toxins don’t only come from the outside, they also come from the inside because your body creates a lot of byproducts that are toxic when they get out of control or reach excessive levels. Let’s take the classic example of estrogen. If estrogen is dominant and in excess, estrogen dominance can later lead to a diagnosis of breast or ovarian cancer. We want to be careful of elevated levels of even the natural byproducts within our body, like cholesterol.

There’s some great case study research that was presented at a couple of naturopathic conferences about castor oil packs supporting the body’s ability to balance out the naturally occurring toxins from the inside to help with balancing cholesterol levels. Mainly, if you have an elevated level of cholesterol, a conventional practitioner might say, “Hey, this is a dangerous level.” Cholesterol, particularly HDL cholesterol, is elevated in the presence of high levels of inflammation in your body.

If you have high levels of cholesterol, which many cancer patients do, it signals high levels of inflammation because cholesterol is a compensation mechanism that the body uses. HDL is a natural anti-inflammatory molecule in your body. Be aware that if you get labs done and have high cholesterol, okay, that’s a toxin, but what is this toxin telling me? It’s telling me that I have high levels of inflammation, and my terrain isn’t as healthy as it could be.

Remember, castor oil packs are one of the easiest ways to shift both stress and inflammation and get the terrain where we want it to be. Castor oil packs help all the things you’re already doing for your cancer care journey work better—whether it’s modified citrus pectin, quercetin, ECGC, hyperthermia treatments, enemas, coffee enemas—whatever school of thought you’re following, castor packs will help all of these things work better. This is why they are especially important for cancer patients.

[00:48:48] Real-Life Testimonials: How Castor Oil Packs Support Cancer Patients

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Now, I want to share with you a couple of testimonials that we have on our website. These are great stories of people who are working with castor oil packs so you can see firsthand. For example, Terry Hodder felt castor oil’s cancer-killing benefits. She says, “I’m an ovarian cancer patient diagnosed three years ago. After two rounds of chemo, the cancer returned. I’m looking for a more natural route to battle this disease, so I’m staying with castor oil packs and other supplements. So far, I feel it has helped with my joint pain.”

“I’ve only been using it for two weeks and am curious to see what my next labs will tell,” wrote Susan Noh. She added, “It helps with sleep. When I use the kit, I usually sleep better and longer. I feel like I’m helping my liver cleanse. As a cancer patient, I want to do all that I can to improve my health while on chemo. This is very important. I hope the new flannels will last longer.”

“Melting away stuck areas—I’m enjoying this as it seems to be breaking up, melting away, and releasing a lot of the stuck stuff. I’ve been going through four years of cancer treatments and receiving all kinds of life-saving drugs, but my body has had a hard time detoxifying afterward. I find this is a wonderful support. Thank you.”

That goes back to what CK wrote about the terrain. You want your chemotherapeutic agents and radiation treatments (if you choose to go down that pathway) to work well. You want to do everything in your power to make sure your body can accept those treatments. If you choose to do them, I’m not going to say whether I’m pro or against chemo; I’m pro what the patient wants to do. If the patient wants to do it, we want it to work to the best of its ability, with the least detrimental effects possible and the best effects on the cancer.

It’s no different than a supplement. If you want a supplement to work well, you need to do things to improve the terrain and get the body working better. There are quite a few testimonials on our website that you can see and experience. Just look and see the benefits of castor oil packs in the cancer journey.

[00:50:55] The Science Behind Castor Oil Packs: Easy and Less Messy Solutions for Inflammation

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Let’s discover why castor oil packs work scientifically. Let’s get into the nuts and bolts of it and how to do an easy, less-mess castor oil pack. That way, you don’t have to deal with the mess anymore and no longer need to use that ugly plastic wrap that we all thought was crazy from an environmental medicine perspective. I made them easy, less messy.

I did this first for myself and my mom, then for my patients, and now for you as well. Because, let’s be honest, even Kelly DiPuccio here—I’m sure and confident—would love to hear it in the chat. Who here has known about castor oil packs for a very long time but just never done them? Drop it in the chat. Is that you? Have you known about castor oil packs for years, but never tried them because they sounded too messy and complicated?

Kelly says in her testimonial, “That’s me exactly. It’s messy, but it works.” Exactly! Now they’re less messy. These packs are super simple and even less messy with the roll-on we have, which is a 58-milliliter roll-on. This roll-on is great for rubbing on your body and liver, making it that much easier for you to be doing the packs.

Castor oil, as we know, may help balance inflammation, and it does so through a molecule known as ricinoleic acid. This is the chemical structure I was talking about earlier. Castor oil, as a side note, also uses this molecule to penetrate deep into tissue.

[00:52:41] Beware of Counterfeit Castor Oil: Understanding Quality and Ricinoleic Acid Levels

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: I want you to take note because there are a lot of counterfeit products or products that mislabel and try to dupe you into thinking their product is superior. They’ll claim things like, “Our castor oil is more than 92% oleic acid.” My friends, I’ve been working with castor oil for over two decades, and I’ve third-party tested multiple batches of castor oil; We’re talking about the very best quality of castor oil in the world because I seek out the highest quality worldwide. I have never seen castor oil that exceeds 88% ricinoleic acid. If it’s above 92%, it isn’t even classified as castor oil anymore. It’s probably not castor oil at all if it’s 92% or higher; it’s some other molecule that doesn’t exist in real castor oil.

I want you to be careful and aware that some companies because castor oil is trending, are mislabeling and misclaiming things. Their prices are astronomical, but they are misleading people. Just be aware that I’ve never seen castor oil higher than 88%, and that’s of the highest quality. Ricinoleic acid should be somewhere between 85% to 90%, and anything over 92% isn’t real castor oil. You should always look for pure castor oil.

[00:54:23] How Castor Oil Packs Activate Relaxation and Detoxification Through Vagus Nerve Stimulation

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Remember, castor oil is all about its anti-inflammatory effect and shifting inflammation, but it also shifts you into a relaxed, “rest, digest, and detox” state. It does this by activating your vagus nerve feedback loop. When you put a pack on your liver, what you’re doing is stimulating receptors in the skin like Meissner’s corpuscles, Pacinian corpuscles, and Ruffini endings. These receptors assess pressure, touch, heat, and other sensations. When you apply the pack, made of soft organic cotton flannel, you stimulate those receptors.

This works no differently than how a hug or a band-aid soothes the body—they operate on the same principle. This creates a feedback loop to your central brainstem, stimulating your vagus nerve. The message is then sent down to your organs responsible for rest, digestion, detoxification, and cleansing, turning them on.

If you don’t have this aspect—if you just do what many people have done over the years, which I call the “lazy man’s castor oil pack,” where they put the oil on and wear an old t-shirt—you’re missing the vagus nerve activation. You’re missing the part that shifts stress. The reduction of inflammation is important, but it’s the shifting of stress that turns on detoxification, drainage, and cleansing in your body.

That’s the most important thing we need because the true definition of health is a body that can take in any toxin and easily eliminate it. Toxins won’t stay stuck, but they will if inflammation and stress are stuck. I know I’m harping on this, but it’s very important. It’s the most unspoken information about the cancer journey, cleansing, detox, and drainage in general. That’s the big reason why you’re working with castor oil packs—you’re working on the terrain. You’re getting your terrain healthy so that you can become that human being, that beautiful body, that system that can take anything in and just let it go. That’s a big deal.

Ryan Sternagel: Of course, not everyone on this call is dealing with an active cancer situation, but nobody wants to be dealing with one either. You can be doing all the “right” things—taking supplements, undergoing treatments, holistic, naturopathic, all the things—but that whole regimen can be stressful in and of itself. You can be doing all the right things, but if you’re stressing yourself out doing them, they won’t work as well because you’re all tensed up. Things aren’t going to work when you’re like that.

That’s what I love about this—it checks so many boxes. It addresses detoxification, gut health, hormone balancing, and all that, but you also feel relaxed and better. It’s pretty cool.

[00:58:17] The Importance of Consistency with Castor Oil Packs: Acute and Long-Term Benefits

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: I love that. One of the listeners, Jamie T, said, “I bought my Queen of the Thrones castor pack months ago, but I just wasn’t consistent.” Guys, consistency is key. We’ll get into why consistency is so important because the castor pack is dose-dependent. It’s no different than exercise—if you work out once, you’re not going to gain muscle mass because you need to do it regularly. Or, if you take one vitamin C supplement or go for one vitamin C IV, it’s not going to do much; It’s dose-dependent.

The cool thing with castor oil packs is that you can use them acutely. If you’re suffering from bowel distress, IBS, or nausea from your chemo regimen, you can put on a castor oil pack, and it can help. You can use it acutely to reduce symptoms. But you also have to be careful with how to prescribe it in relation to chemo and radiation. We’ll get into that as well.

I’ll also address the question some people are asking: Do we always use a liver pack? We’ll get into which pack to use, etc., but let’s focus for now on how it works scientifically.

[00:59:29] How Castor Oil Packs Boost Dopamine and Oxytocin for Immediate Well-Being

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: The other cool thing about castor oil is that when you place it on your skin, it stimulates dopamine in the brain, which is a feel-good hormone.

It’s also a reward molecule. Imagine you’re taking supplements but not feeling any better or noticing a difference. With castor oil packs, when you put the oil on your body and apply the compress, you feel physically better immediately. For most people, they feel an immediate improvement. This happens because the oil in the body stimulates dopamine. Then, the pack itself stimulates receptors on the skin and activates the vagus nerve. Not only is the vagus nerve being activated, but it also increases and supports the natural production of oxytocin, which is our love and connection molecule.

Earlier in the seminar, I mentioned how Edgar Cayce loved castor oil packs. Edgar Cayce, known as the “bedside prophet,” loved these packs because he believed they connected us to the divine or to God. His favorite Bible was the King James version. Oxytocin is what connects us to the divine and to each other. For example, when you get a hug, you get a natural boost of oxytocin. Most people who are sick or in a diseased state of any kind have low levels of oxytocin.

Oxytocin is a big molecule that we’re focusing on to see how we can do daily practices to stimulate more of it. Castor oil packs are one of those practices that help you feel better.

[01:01:25] Troubleshooting Castor Oil Packs: Addressing Dehydration for Optimal Results

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: One thing I want you to know—and if you have a pen and paper, write this down because it’s very important—is what to do if a castor oil pack doesn’t work. What if you don’t feel better? What if you don’t have a bowel movement? Typically, after using a castor oil pack, people poop better, sleep better, and feel better. These are the three main benefits. If you look at the testimonials on the website, you’ll see people saying it again and again: poop better, sleep better, feel better.

If you’re not experiencing those benefits—pooping better, sleeping better, or feeling better—it’s typically due to dehydration; This is key. In my clinical practice with cancer patients, many were dehydrated. Chemo drugs, treatments, vomiting, diarrhea—whatever the case may be—often lead to dehydration. Staying on top of hydration is one of the fastest ways to improve health.

If you’re not feeling the benefits of castor oil packs—if you’re not sleeping or pooping better—it’s likely because you’re dehydrated. In 99.9% of cases, I would test patients using a dipstick to check their specific gravity, and 99% of the time, when they reported no benefits after a week, it was due to dehydration. I was easily able to fix that by recommending an electrolyte mixture or a multi-mineral mixture containing magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus, along with increasing water intake.

Remember, if you’re not pooping better, sleeping better, or feeling better within the first seven days, look at dehydration as a potential issue to troubleshoot.

[01:03:35] Research Highlights: How Castor Oil Packs Improve Detox, Inflammation, and Liver Function

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Castor oil packs open up the liver detox, lymphatic drainage, and colon cleansing pathways. There’s great research on this—although there isn’t a huge amount of studies, because, of course, no one makes money off castor oil packs.

Pharmaceutical drugs have so much research behind them because pharmaceutical companies are making billions of dollars on these medicines. One of the reasons we’re looking to create a fund is so that we can eventually start doing more research on castor oil packs.

Up until now, research has been funded by various organizations. I even funded one within my company’s clinic, where we did case studies on two groups of people doing cleanses. We tested pre-cleanse two weeks before, at the beginning of the cleanse, two weeks into the cleanse, at the end of the cleanse, and two weeks after. We tested liver markers, liver enzymes, and CBC (complete blood count). We also did kidney function tests and looked at markers of inflammation like CRP, uric acid, and urea—all markers that give insight into the microbiome and overall body health.

The group using castor oil packs showed significant improvements in inflammation markers, better microbiomes, and improved liver function. This was also supported by evidence presented at a systematic review at the American Association of Naturopathic Practitioners in 2010. For the research to be scientific, it has to be reproducible, and with castor oil packs, it’s reproducible; It’s pretty awesome.

[01:05:20] The Immunomodulating Effects of Castor Oil Packs: Importance of Consistent Use

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: There’s one great study on immunomodulation—the use of castor oil packs to help modulate the immune system. This is where we see that castor oil packs are dose-dependent. You have to practice them regularly; it’s not a one-time thing. You’ve got to be consistent. This is important because seven hours after using a castor oil pack, there’s an increase in immune system activity, allowing it to improve its functionality. This is an important area to keep in mind.

[01:05:53] How Castor Oil Packs Regulate Digestion: Balancing Diarrhea and Constipation

Harry Lindgren: “It seems almost impossible to constipate me. I tend toward the other side, going often. Will diarrhea be a possibility during use?”

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: No, because castor oil packs regulate. If you’re going too much, they balance you out. Castor oil packs balance out the terrain and inflammation. Stress can cause either diarrhea or constipation, and castor oil packs balance out the stress, bringing diarrhea or constipation to a middle ground. Cool, right?

[01:06:30] Castor Oil Packs vs. Laxatives: A Natural and Balanced Solution for Constipation

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: There’s also another great research study from 2011 that I came across when I got deep into clinical practice. I was so excited when I saw it on PubMed. The study compared pharmaceutical stimulant laxatives to castor oil packs and showed that castor oil packs were just as effective at alleviating constipation symptoms. People had better bowel movements, more fecal mass was eliminated, and there was less urgency and cramping compared to stimulant laxatives.

This is why I tend to steer people away from taking castor oil orally and recommend using castor oil packs instead. Castor oil packs can provide the same relief from constipation, and if you have excessive diarrhea, they help rebalance everything.

Ryan Sternagel: You’re on a roll here, Dr. Marisol.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: I love it. I was just looking at some of the comments because I love seeing Catherine through there. I was just like, “Oh, Catherine Frazier, hello! Good to see you!” Awesome, awesome. Here we go, more comments again. Great products.

[01:07:45] Testimonials: How Castor Oil Packs Help with Pain, Digestion, and Thyroid Health

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Here we’ve got Carolina saying, “Great product. I have cancer, and doing the castor oil packs helps me with the terrible pain I get in my liver.” I had a cancer patient who, unfortunately, came to me a little too late—end-stage pancreatic cancer—but they couldn’t eat because they had severe pain in their belly. The one thing that alleviated their pain was castor oil packs. It was amazing and allowed them to eat. That was such a big clincher for me in my practice. It was just like, wow, this is amazing.

We’ve got Kevin Cannon here saying, “I’m a two-time throat cancer survivor. After my first operation, most of my thyroid gland was removed. As such, I developed hypothyroidism. One of the main side effects of this condition is constipation. Since I’ve been using castor oil packs, I’ve seen much improvement in my bowel movements.” Kevin could also benefit from using the castor oil thyroid pack, which we’ll get into in a little bit.

How do you do the pack? Yes, we are going to get into speaking about thyroid health and nodules, so we’ll get into that shortly.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Get the roller—it makes life so easy. The crystal quartz roller makes it so simple. You can roll it on, go into the sauna, and then wear the pack afterward. We don’t recommend our normal liver packs in the sauna (in case people are curious), because they have an outer polyurethane layer. We do have a completely organic pack—our starter pack—with just an organic flannel insert and a strap. You can use that one in the sauna if you want.

It just depends on how you want to do it, but otherwise, for the sauna, I love when people roll the castor oil on their body, go into the sauna, and then put the pack on after. That’s ideal—it’s the easiest.

[01:10:05] Where to Begin: Using Castor Oil Packs for Liver and Thyroid Health

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Where, when, how, with, or what, and then we’ll conclude the presentation.

Where? If you don’t know where to start, always start with the liver when it comes to castor oil packs, because it’s the main site of detox in your body. When you place the castor oil pack on the liver, you’re stimulating dermatomes, which are basically the nerve roots that communicate with the organs inside your system—your rest, digest, and detox organs. When you put it over the liver, you’re stimulating the T5 all the way to L1 and L2. You’re communicating with the organs of the gallbladder, liver, diaphragm, and stomach.

There was a question earlier about whether you could combine a gallbladder flush with a castor oil pack. Combine them. Add coffee enemas with your castor oil pack—definitely. That takes those practices to the next level. For every enema I do and every colon hydrotherapy session, I always use a castor oil pack because it helps everything work better. Why wouldn’t I do it?

If you don’t know where to start, always start with the liver. Using the pack over the liver also supports many of the traditional energetics of our bodies. It connects with important organ channels in traditional Chinese medicine like the gallbladder meridian, bladder meridian, stomach meridian, liver, conception vessel, and spleen. These are all impactful meridians related to the immune system and the organs of detoxification and drainage. We want to keep that top of mind.

I love the thyroid pack, especially when combined with the liver pack. There’s a reason for this: if you’ve had thyroid cancer, nodules, inflammation in your thyroid, a boggy thyroid, or even a goiter, then you know inflammation is occurring in the thyroid. The thyroid is the organ most susceptible to all kinds of environmental toxins.

Knowing that, when you use a castor oil liver pack to shift your body into a relaxed state, detox your liver, drain your lymphatics, and cleanse your colon, it’s wise to also use a thyroid pack for its anti-inflammatory effect on the thyroid, especially when doing the liver pack. I highly encourage using both the liver pack and the thyroid pack together.

Like the liver pack, which helps regulate constipation or diarrhea, the thyroid pack helps regulate hyperthyroid or hypothyroid conditions. It works by addressing the underlying terrain processes that negatively impact the thyroid.

[01:13:00] The Prevalence of Thyroid Nodules and the Importance of Thyroid Packs

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: As a side note about nodules, I palpated them in about 98% of my patients because I did a physical exam on every single patient, and almost everyone had nodules. It was wild, but considering the population I worked with—cancer and autoimmunity—it’s likely more rampant than we realize. Many people have thyroid nodules, which is why it’s always a good precaution to use a thyroid pack. The thyroid is often impacted in stage two of the disease when your metabolism, energy, and sleep are thrown off, usually due to toxins, inflammation, and stress.

[01:13:50] Using Castor Oil Packs for Breast, Pelvic, and Hormonal Health

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Another area you can address with castor oil packs is the breasts. Breast packs are great for post-surgery, post-mastectomy, breast implant illness, or after having breast implants removed, which is very important. They’re also useful after getting breast implants post-mastectomy or for cosmetic reasons. Breast packs help with surgical scars and lymphatic flow, ensuring there’s no blockage.

Some patients also use them over cancerous masses on the breast; That’s another way they can be used. The thyroid pack and breast packs are typically worn for an hour, whereas the liver pack is worn for at least an hour, or even overnight; That’s the ideal approach.

Here’s the thing with the liver pack: if you have issues with your uterus or ovaries, such as ovarian cysts, ovarian cancer, or anything related to the lower pelvic region (including prostate issues for men), you can alternate between the liver pack and a pelvic or hip pack.

If there are pelvic issues like fibroids or ovarian cysts, you can cycle between liver packs and pelvic packs. If you want, Ryan and I can provide you with access to a document that explains how to cycle the packs. You can cycle them based on your hormones. For women with an active menstrual cycle, from the period to ovulation is the best time to wear the liver pack. This is the ideal time for your body to cleanse and detox because estrogen levels are modulating, inflammation is lower, and the body is preparing for potential impregnation.

From ovulation until the next period, the best time to use the pelvic pack is because the energetics in the pelvic region shift after ovulation, and that’s when you want to address pelvic health.

For those in menopause who no longer have their period, you can cycle the packs based on the lunar cycle. From the full moon to the new moon, it’s the best time to detoxify using the liver and thyroid packs. Then, from the new moon to the full moon, you wear the pelvic pack which can include breast packs as well.

Ryan Sternagel: Is this the “Five Ways Castor Oil Packs Can Transform Your Health” protocol? Or something different?

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: I can get you a different one. It’s a specific protocol that I’ll have sent over to you, so you can email it. People can download the actual protocol for women. It explains how to help their bodies’ hormone cycle. When your hormones are in balance, you’re much healthier. Remember, there are three stages of disease: first, leaky gut; second, energy and sleep metabolism problems; and third, hormone dysregulation. The fourth stage is genetic mutations.

If you can regulate and balance your hormones, you’re doing a lot of good work to support healthy genetics and reduce mutations.

[01:17:44] When to Use Castor Oil Packs: Aligning with the Body’s Natural Detox Cycles

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: When? Castor oil packs, as I’ve mentioned throughout this presentation, are a regular practice. They can be used acutely, but most importantly, they should be used regularly, just like food, supplements, and exercise. If you want good results, you’ve got to do it regularly.

There’s even evidence to support this. According to the traditional Chinese medicine clock, if you’re waking up between 1 and 3 a.m., it’s because your liver is bombarded with toxins and can’t cleanse and detox. The liver is most active between 1 and 3 a.m., and if it’s overwhelmed, the toxins stay in your tissues, irritating your nervous system and causing you to wake up.

The gallbladder signals the detox process by dropping bile between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m., which then moves to the liver between 1 and 3 a.m. From 3 to 5 a.m., the focus shifts to the lungs, which control lymphatic drainage.

When you breathe and inhale and exhale, you’re naturally pumping your lymphatic system. Then, from 5 to 7 a.m., the large intestine and bowels and colon cleansing. We naturally cleanse and detox while we sleep, so it makes total sense to do a castor oil pack at least one hour before bed, or ideally, even better, wear it overnight.

This chronobiological effect isn’t just supported by traditional Chinese medicine (which some might call “woo”), but it’s also backed by PubMed research. Chronobiologists—doctors who understand that timing in the body is critical—have shown that the liver has a specific time when it’s most active. This concept was big in Germany when I was training in cancer care. Not only does the liver have its peak time for cleansing, drainage, and detoxification, but the microbiome also works best at night.

If we want to optimize our system, we need to consider the timing of our treatments and supplements. My favorite times to prescribe things are before bed and when you wake up in the morning. When you go to bed, you’re giving your body support during its natural “cleanup” time. Then, when you wake up, your body is clean, and you take your supplements on a clean slate. Those are my favorite times for castor oil packs and supplements. Of course, some supplements, like modified citrus pectin, need to be taken at specific times between meals, but there’s great benefit to aligning treatments with the body’s natural rhythms.

Wearing your castor oil pack at the right time—before bed or better yet, overnight—yields the best results. But if you can only do it at a different time of day, that’s fine too. Just do it whenever you can to get some benefit. Take the example of Jennifer B, who doesn’t want to risk anything messy. She uses the less-mess castor oil packs but still wants to keep her sheets clean, so she applies the pack when she gets up in the morning. She still gets benefits from it.

While it’s better to do it at night before bed, the key is to do it regularly.

[01:21:11] Guidelines for Using Castor Oil Packs During Chemotherapy and Radiation

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: If you’re undergoing chemo or radiation, don’t use castor oil for about 48 hours beforehand or 24 hours after your treatment. Check with your doctor, as some chemotherapeutic agents have a longer half-life, and you may need to wait 48 hours after chemo before using the pack. Always consult with your natural holistic practitioner for guidance.

For patients on constant oral chemo drugs, I’ve had them do castor oil packs but limit the time to only one hour. Castor oil packs don’t massively move things out of the body; they shift stress and inflammation, helping the body work better naturally. They can be safely used during chemotherapy, but it’s important to be cautious with radiation; You don’t want oil on your skin before going in for radiation, as it can cause burns.

[01:22:27] The Importance of Using Clean, High-Quality Materials in Castor Oil Packs

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Why did I make the packs clean and less messy? To give access to high-quality organic materials for the packs, and not to continue the old, outdated way of doing the packs.

Remember when we talked about toxins in your yoga pants earlier in the presentation? We’re exposed to toxins from all directions, and you can even get toxins from using the wrong pack or material. Fabrics and oils can be sources of plastic toxins and xenoestrogens, which is why it’s important to use the right materials.

Here’s the thing: the skin is the perfect environment for absorbing toxins. On the skin, we have oil, heat, salt, bacteria, and light—all of which make absorption easier. So, you need to be 100% sure you’re using the right materials on your skin. This is especially true near delicate areas like your underwear, so try to switch to more natural fabrics there as well.

The quality of your castor oil pack is paramount. You should only use organic cotton or wool. These were recommended by the original writings of Edgar Cayce. Never, ever use a cotton blend with synthetic fibers. If you go on Amazon, they may claim something is “cotton,” but it often isn’t. They can say whatever they want on Amazon, and there’s no mechanism to check or regulate them—none.

Ryan Sternagel: No lie police on Amazon.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: No lie police on Amazon, indeed. They can say whatever they want, and it’s shocking how bad it is. Be careful. Go to a trusted, reputable source like Queen of the Thrones. We have it clearly labeled on our products. Many packs on Amazon don’t even have labels, which is illegal, but no one is policing them.

Never use a cotton blend. You’ll see things like “cotton velour,” which might feel soft and seem like cotton, but it isn’t. Make sure you’re using someone who uses the right materials. Organic bamboo, for example, is processed with over 20 caustic chemicals. Bamboo is as strong as steel in construction, and to create bamboo fabric, they take the cellulose fiber of the bamboo and break it down with a green vat of chemicals. Since it’s marketed as an eco-friendly material, they don’t use much water to wash it. Plus, organic bamboo is often blended with plastic fibers, which contain phthalates.

You’ve got to be careful about the packs you’re using. Take Amazon as an example—beware of imitation and counterfeit products. If you look at the pictures, you might not know the difference between Queen of the Thrones and these counterfeit companies. Their pack is made from a cotton blend with rayon, which contains phthalates. Castor oil, being a master carrier oil, will carry those toxins right into your body.

Your castor oil must always be 100% pure, certified organic, hexane-free, extra virgin, and always third-party tested. That’s what you get with Queen of the Thrones, and you won’t find that with other companies.

One thing to note—if something is lined with bamboo, that’s not a good thing. I would be cautious, even with something like your sauna. Bamboo material is pretty toxic unless the manufacturer has a unique process that avoids those issues. Bamboo can be very toxic, Donna.

[01:26:10] Why Quality Testing and Glass Bottling Matter for Castor Oil

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: You might notice that I don’t specify “cold pressed” or “expeller pressed” on our castor oil. The reason is that we switch between the two depending on quality. I know many people think cold pressed is the gold standard, but there’s very little difference between cold pressed and expeller pressed. If a cold pressed oil doesn’t test well—whether it’s lower in ricinoleic acid or more contaminated—I’ll bottle the expeller pressed instead.

At this point, we’re bottling expeller pressed, but I’m always searching for the best option. It’s tough to find better-testing cold pressed castor oil, but I only bottle what is the absolute best at the time. That’s our guarantee because everything we do is third-party tested. We don’t rely on our suppliers for testing; we take samples and get them tested ourselves; That’s important.

We also always bottle in glass because castor oil will absorb anything in plastic and bring it into your body.

[01:27:15] Beware of Counterfeit Castor Oil Products on Amazon: Protect Yourself from Fraudulent Claims

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Let me show you the extent companies go to counterfeit products on Amazon. On the left, you have the Queen of the Thrones bottle—organic golden castor oil. On the right, you have an imitation from a Chinese company that’s trying to mimic our label. They even used a little crown behind the words to look the same, but they spelled “golden” wrong. This is what happens on Amazon. Buyer beware!

I’m telling you, be very careful. Amazon is great for books and other things, but do not buy supplements or natural products there. I know I’m preaching to the choir, Ryan, but there’s no policing on Amazon—none. People don’t realize how often they’re being bamboozled. I’m always shocked and scared for people, which is why I want to educate them about these dangers. I stopped shopping there in November.

It’s all about the dollar on Amazon, so be careful. Watch out for false claims like this one: we took a bottle from a company claiming to have 92%+ ricinoleic acid, tested it, and found out it was false. They’re lying on their label. Be careful if you see claims like that—it’s fraudulent. I don’t know if I would trust them at all because if they’re putting false information on the bottle, how can you trust anything else?

[01:28:59] Why Castor Oil Packs Are a Game Changer for Your Health

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Now that we’ve covered all the nitty-gritty details and things to be aware of, you can see how easy castor oil packs are to use. The question is, why do practitioners prescribe Queen of the Thrones? Why do Ryan Sternagel and the Sternagel family use and recommend them? It’s because they’re game changers in people’s lives.

Castor oil packs are that uniting force that helps everything else you’re doing work better. They help shift stress and inflammation so that your body’s terrain can be in a healthier place. That’s why the number one comment we hear on our website and in testimonials is that castor oil packs are a game changer.

My question to you is: if you haven’t started using castor oil packs, are you ready to get started? It’s time. You’ve been hearing about them, and you’ve known about them for years. Now is the time to start using castor oil packs because they are a true needle mover when practiced regularly. They don’t replace everything else you’re doing—you’ll still maintain your supplements and good lifestyle practices—but this pulls it all together and enhances your efforts.

I love seeing Elena’s and Maggie’s excitement. Yes, I love it.

Ryan Sternagel: I think scheduling this at the start of the year was a very good choice, so I’m patting myself on the back for that.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: It’s a great time to start!

Ryan Sternagel: Absolutely.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: There are some great questions in the chat right now. Again, if people want to, I encourage you to follow me at Be Well Queen, where I can keep educating you on all the little nuances you’d love to learn about when it comes to castor oil packs and self-care.

[01:30:47] No Need for External Heat: How Queen of the Thrones Castor Oil Packs Naturally Retain Body Heat

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: I see people asking about the use of heat. With the Queen of the Thrones Castor Oil Pack, there’s no need for heat anymore. You can add heat if you choose, but it’s not necessary. The pack is designed to maintain your body’s natural heat, which wasn’t available before with the Edgar Cayce method. The pack will self-heat, so there’s no need for that extra step unless you want it, and I love that.

Ryan Sternagel: It gets warm without anything extra. After we stopped using the electric heating pad—which was old-school castor oil pack practice—we realized it wasn’t ideal. Not only were we putting plastic on ourselves, but we were heating the plastic up, exposing ourselves to high EMF electric fields. We moved from that to a wet towel with a rubber hot water bottle over it. I didn’t want to give up the hot water bottle for a while, even after moving to Queen of the Thrones.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: That’s okay!

Ryan Sternagel: But even without the hot water bottle, you get warm. You can even get sweaty underneath—it’s crazy how well the pack holds in your body heat.

[01:32:14] How Often Should You Use Castor Oil Packs? Tips for Regular and Effective Use

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Some great questions are coming up about usage. What do I consider regular or daily use? You need to get to know your own medicine—this is your self-care tool, and you have to listen to and understand your body.

When I say “regular,” of course, ideally, I would love for everyone to use it nightly. However, I’m also realistic. I’ve been seeing patients for over a decade, and I know that not all my patients would use the pack every night. Let’s be honest—I’m not perfect either; There are nights when I don’t do it. But as long as you maintain a healthy consistency of three to five times per week, I think you’ll see great improvement in your health.

The more you do it, the better you’re going to feel. When you’re doing a cleanse, I encourage you to use it every night. If it’s your first time using a castor oil pack, do it every night for at least seven days. This will help you figure out if you’re feeling the benefits, and it will also show you if dehydration is an issue. Remember, if you’re not feeling the three top benefits—pooping better, sleeping better, and feeling better—you might be dehydrated. You’ll see that within the first seven days of using the pack. That’s what I mean by regular usage.

Start to use the castor oil pack as your self-care tool, your little at-home health tool. If you have a tummy ache, put on a pack. Feeling stressed? Put on a pack. Experiencing regurgitation or acid reflux? Put on a pack. It helps with all these things. Do you have period cramps? Put on a pack.

[01:34:05] Why You Shouldn’t Share Castor Oil Packs and Tips for Using Separate Packs for Different Areas

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: One thing I would mention: don’t share packs. I feel that packs are like underwear—it’s a personal item. We don’t know enough yet because there hasn’t been enough research, but it’s best to keep your pack to yourself.

We know that castor oil can bring things into the body, but we’re not sure if it can also pull things out through the skin—whether there might be absorption of toxins into the pack. So, you wouldn’t want to share a castor oil pack any more than you’d want to share underwear.

I also recommend that if you’re using a liver pack, keep it for the liver and use a separate pelvic pack for the pelvic region. The pelvic region contains delicate organs like the ovaries and uterus, just like the thyroid or breast tissue. You don’t want to use the same pack that’s used for the liver (which is a master detoxifier) on these more sensitive areas of the body. Just a little word of caution there.

Thank you so much, Barb, for the kind words. I appreciate that a lot. And Martha, I love that you enjoy the heating pads.

[01:35:20] Using Castor Oil Packs for Scar Healing and Irritation: A Solution for C-Section and Post-Surgery Scars

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Here’s a question from the chat: “This isn’t cancer-related, but what’s your opinion on using castor oil packs on old C-section scars that are becoming more irritable?”

That’s an excellent question. Any scar that’s becoming more irritable is a sign that your stress and inflammation levels are up. When scars become irritated, it’s a precursor to keloid formation—and you don’t want a keloid. Keloids can be painful, unsightly, and tough to manage. So, if you can catch it before a keloid forms, great! I say go for it. Castor oil packs are an excellent tool for this.

That’s one of the main reasons we use castor oil packs after mastectomies or post-implant surgery, to prevent scar inflammation and the potential formation of keloids. Castor oil packs are great for scars. We even have a roller that you can use—it’s amazing for breaking down irritated scars. It’s called a fascia roller, and it works wonders. People often wonder if they should buy it, but once they do, they love it. It’s great for tight muscles and scars, and it’s especially helpful for breast tissue after implant removal or to help fluff up the tissue post-surgery. It’s a fantastic tool that people love.

Catherine Frazier: Thank you for setting this up, Ryan. You deserve a hug! Ask your wife for some extra hugs from all of us. I’ve got to go, but I’ll look forward to the replay link.

[01:37:22] Castor Oil Pack Dosing and Care: How to Maximize Effectiveness and Longevity

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Now, about dosing: Less is more when it comes to castor oil. The roller is designed to give you the exact dose you need. You take the roller and roll it over your liver—imagine it like this—and roll from the front of your body to your back. The roller provides the perfect dose.

If you prefer to pour the oil onto the pack instead, you only need two tablespoons the first time you use it. That’s it! The second time you use the castor oil pack, you’ll only need one tablespoon, and going forward, you’ll continue using just one tablespoon.

The packs are designed to last for about two months with daily use—around 60 uses—and then you should replace them. However, if you’re alternating packs and using them three to five times a week, your pack will last a bit longer than two months.

Typically, after 60 uses, you should replace it. If you want to wash the pack, I cheat a little and put mine in the dishwasher (just make sure it’s very clean), and then I lay it flat to dry. It’s super easy, and it works great. I love the simplicity.

When I’m traveling and don’t have access to a dishwasher, I do it the old-fashioned way. However, with the roller, which I highly recommend, you get the exact right amount of oil on your body. This means more of the oil absorbs into your skin, and less is absorbed into the pack, which helps the pack last longer. The roller is awesome and makes everything less messy and easier, simplifying your routine.

The other way to wash the pack is to soak it in hot water with baking soda the night before, then hand wash it in the morning. You’ll need an old tea towel—roll the pack in the towel to squeeze out any excess oil. Be aware that the tea towel will be ruined, but you can then lay the pack flat to dry. That method works too, but I prefer not to wash the pack at all and just aim for my 60 uses with the roller before replacing it. That works well for me. The roller is a game-changer, I love it.

Ryan Sternagel: That makes sense because, after a while, the pack just gets saturated. There’s no way around that. But if more oil is absorbed into the skin first, it’s less of an issue. I’ve got to get myself a roller!

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Oh, they’re good! If you haven’t gotten one yet, I’m going to get one for you.

[01:40:38] Extended Use of Castor Oil Packs: How Longer Application Can Enhance Healing

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Patty asked about wearing the breast packs for more than just an hour.

Yes, you can wear them for longer if you want to. I usually recommend an hour for thyroid packs, but not overnight because it’s wrapped around your neck, and I don’t feel comfortable with anyone sleeping with that on—just in case. But you can use the breast packs for longer than an hour if you like.

With castor oil packs, more time is always better. The longer you keep the pack on your body, the more benefit you’ll get. There isn’t really a “maximum dose” with castor oil packs. For example, when I first created the pack, I was sick and bedridden during naturopathic school. For one whole month, I did a castor oil pack every hour, alternating between an hour on and an hour off. I was modulating my inflammation and stress, and it helped me get better when nothing else was working.

I was worried that none of my medications were working. That’s when I gave castor oil packs a real shot, and it changed my life. After being sick with the Epstein-Barr virus, mold toxicity, co-infections, hormone problems, PCOS, and IBS, I was dealing with everything. But the castor oil packs got me better over time. At first, I used them frequently, but as I started feeling better, I used them less. It’s okay to use them more frequently if you’re in a sick or chronic state, but as you improve, you can taper off while still maintaining a consistent practice.

Listen to your body—that’s key. I love how Catherine Frazier mentioned that.

Yes, my product is sold on Amazon, but we’re there simply because if we’re not, the counterfeit sellers will take advantage. Our listings are there, but it’s always better to buy directly from the source for multiple reasons. Amazon takes a big cut of the money, and that means less for us to use in research, growth, or helping the world shift from sick care to self-care. Buying directly from us also helps us keep our prices lower, so always use the link Ryan gives you.

Maggie: I bought two—one for myself and not to share.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: I love that, Maggie! Awesome. Also, castor oil packs help break up biofilms. I didn’t mention that in my presentation, but they assist with balancing the microbiome as well.

[01:43:35] Castor Oil for Skin and Hair: A Natural Remedy for Wrinkles, Sagging, and Hair Growth

Evelise: Can castor oil help with face wrinkles and sagging skin?

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Absolutely, 100%! I wash my face with castor oil now. I use the roller, roll it all over my face, and then take a hot, wet cloth to wipe off the oil, makeup, and dirt. I do that every night. Then I use the roller again, roll more oil over my eyes, put on an eye mask, and go to bed. The roller is made of crystal quartz, so it’s like a gua sha tool all in one. You can also use it for hair growth.

That’s something we didn’t mention here: if you’ve lost your hair due to chemo, we have a castor oil hair wrap. You gently apply castor oil to your roots and tips, wrap your hair, and leave it on for one to two hours weekly. This can support hair growth during chemo. There are so many great ways to use castor oil.

Ryan Sternagel: There’s a story about Cleopatra or Nefertiti—wasn’t castor oil their beauty secret?

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Yes, Cleopatra’s beauty secret was castor oil for her eyebrows, eyelashes, and even the whites of her eyes! Isn’t that interesting? They say the whites of her eyes, and in functional naturopathic medicine, we know the eyes are a window into the liver. If the whites of your eyes are red or inflamed, or if you see lots of blood vessels in the whites, that’s a sign of stress and inflammation in the liver. Using castor oil packs helps with that—the whites of your eyes get whiter because you’re improving liver metabolism, reducing inflammation, and lowering stress.

Ryan Sternagel: Awesome. I learned a couple of new things today.

[01:45:57] Applying Castor Oil Packs on Tumor Areas: Balancing Circulation and Inflammation

Ryan Sternagel: There’s a lot of questions, Dr. Marisol, about whether it’s okay to put castor oil on tumor areas. You mentioned that if someone is dealing with ovarian cancer, it doesn’t hurt to put the pack on the area. But people are asking, “I have liver cancer—should I put it on the liver?” “I have stomach cancer—should I put it on the stomach?” Is there a hard and fast answer about whether it’s okay to put castor oil on tumor areas, or any other advice on that?

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: There are two schools of thought when it comes to applying castor oil to a tumor mass. One is the vitalist approach, which I follow. This approach believes that cancer is caused by inflammation and stress in the area, which impacts various processes like angiogenesis (the creation of new blood vessels), metastasis, and other mechanisms in cancer development. The vitalists believe that by changing the terrain—meaning the environment around the tumor—you can positively influence the local area. In this view, applying a castor oil pack to a cancerous mass could potentially reduce the tumor size by improving the terrain.

However, there’s no solid research to back this up definitively; we rely on clinical practice and historical, eclectic uses of castor oil. Personally, I’ve always applied castor oil topically over cancerous areas, and I’ve never seen an increase in metastasis or any negative effects. In fact, I’ve often seen decreases in inflammation markers.

In some cases, patients’ tumor markers might increase after applying castor oil, but that’s not always a bad thing. Sometimes an increase in tumor markers can indicate cancer cell death, so you need to look at these markers over time, not just at one snapshot.

On the other hand, there’s another school of thought that is cautious about applying castor oil packs directly to tumors. This group is concerned because castor oil increases blood flow and circulation to the area, and they worry this could feed the tumor. However, from the vitalist perspective, cancer isn’t just a cell gone rogue due to excess blood flow—it’s a result of the terrain being out of balance, with too much toxicity and stress. If we fix the terrain, the cells should behave properly, and the body can heal itself.

I can’t make the decision for people about whether or not to apply castor oil directly to a tumor, but I personally believe in applying it topically to the mass and the surrounding area.

Ryan Sternagel: That’s a good way to think about it. You’ll hear the same concerns about things like red light therapy, which increases mitochondrial function and helps with blood flow. Some people fear it might enhance tumor growth by boosting the mitochondrial function of cancer cells. However, those cancer cells became cancerous in the first place because they had impaired mitochondrial function. When you listen to most holistic, naturopathic, or integrative practitioners, helping a cancer cell regain some mitochondrial function and calming it down isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Exactly, it’s not a bad thing. I agree with that too. I think there’s a lot of fear. Naturopathic oncologists sometimes feel the pressure to only use treatments that are well-researched because they work so closely with conventional oncologists. But for me, I knew that castor oil therapy is an old, well-established treatment; It’s anti-inflammatory. If you’re giving something anti-inflammatory to someone with cancer, the changes alone in the molecular signaling around the tumor are significant. You’re not going to see as much VEGF (which stimulates angiogenesis), and other pro-inflammatory markers like cyclooxygenase will be downregulated because inflammation is being reduced.

Yes, there will be increased circulation in the area, but wouldn’t that be beneficial? Wouldn’t it be good for the cancer cells to receive a healthy blast of quercetin, EGCG, or other antioxidants you’re taking? That’s how I look at it. We’re on the same page about this.

Thank you so much for having me, Ryan. It’s always a pleasure to spend time with you—I love it.

Ryan Sternagel: It’s been too long, Dr. Marisol. I hope you guys enjoyed this one—I know I did. And Dr. Marisol, I think we broke the attendance record, which is pretty cool!

[01:51:10] Castor Oil for Pain, Skin, and Eye Health

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: Let me quickly answer a few last questions. Yes to low back pain, yes to joint pain, yes to parasites—yes, yes, yes! For Anne, who asked about using castor oil in her eyes, you can’t use regular castor oil in the eyes. It must be sterile, and ours isn’t sterile—neither are 100% of the ones on the market. The only castor oil safe for use in the eyes is the sterile kind from a pharmacist. However, for dry eyes, you can apply castor oil over the eyelids and around the eyes. This helps bring circulation to the area and supports eye function.

Oh, and for sagging skin—yes, it helps over time! It tightens things up because castor oil is rich in essential fats, which improve the overall consistency of the skin. People often say that their belly areas, like muffin tops, start feeling better with regular use.

Thank you so much for having me. I could keep going forever, but if there are any more questions, feel free to send them my way!

Ryan Sternagel: All right, guys, take care!

Dr. Marisol Teijeiro: All right, take care. Bye.
